BY PLANE – Tampa International Airport, ranked one of the world’s most loved airports by several organizations and publications, is located just five miles west of downtown Tampa on the eastern shore of Tampa Bay. It offers nonstop flights to more than 80 destinations domestically and internationally. These include top cities such as New York City, Chicago, San Francisco, Dallas, Washington DC, Los Angeles, Seattle, London, Zurich, Panama City, Frankfurt, and Reykjavík. There are 17 airlines with service from Tampa International.
Traveling to CAMLS is a stress-free experience. Taxi, motor coach and VIP town car services are readily available. CAMLS sits just 7 miles (15 minutes in moderate traffic) from Tampa International Airport.
The official language of the conference is English. Simultaneous translation will not be provided.

The public transport system TBARTA (Tampa Bay Area Regional Transportation Authority) serves the area quite capillary. In addition, the TECO tram line connects the main districts – such as Downtown, Channel District and Ybor City – and water taxis are a great way to get around the coast and the Hillsborough River. Transportation options include a comprehensive menu of motor coach, limo & taxi services, streetcar & trolley, shuttle systems and rental cars. Over 200 buses service the Tampa Bay area. Rail commuters will find Tampa Union Station’s daily notion-wide routes convenient while those driving in town will find plenty of parking in Tampa and well-connected interstates and roadways offering easy access to Orlando Sarasota and east coast of Florida.
How to get from Tampa Airport to downtown Tampa by Taxi
Taking a taxi or private shuttle from Tampa Airport is the fastest way to get to downtown Tampa. Taxis and private shuttles are the only door-to-door services available at the airport and the cost of a taxi from the airport to Tampa is around $30,00.
Tampa International Airport offers a Public Bus
The Hillsborough Area Regional Transit (HART) and Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) bus stop is located at the Rental Car Center. Follow signs to Remote Curbside. The route map and schedule are posted at the bus stop.
In general, banks are open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5.00 pm.
The official currency in the USA is the Dollar. Major credit cards are widely accepted.
The electrical system in the USA is 110-120 Volt (60 Hz).
The Tampa Bay area has a humid subtropical climate, closely bordering a tropical climate near the waterfront areas. There are two basic seasons in the Tampa Bay area, a hot and wet season from May through October, and a mild and dry season from November through April.
Some participants may require an entry VISA for the USA. Participants are requested to consult the American Embassy or Consulate in their home country or with their travel agency for specific details relating to visa requirements. On request, a letter of invitation can be issued by the organizing secretariat.
